KO Physical Therapy is an out of network physical therapy provider in New York. 

We are Out of Network because that allows us to focus on providing you with the highest levels of care, based on your unique needs. In-Network physical therapists simply cannot provide the same level of quality and care. Why?

Over the years insurance companies have cut their reimbursement rates for physical therapy to extremely low levels. This has resulted in many ‘In-Network’ practices which have become "care factories" with therapists seeing 3-4 patients an hour with the help of junior aides and assistants.

As a result, you risk being treated by your therapist for 10-30 minutes, which may not correlate to your unique care needs. Furthermore, clinics and facilities that maintain high volumes of patients tend to be more business orientated than client-oriented.

We believe in putting the health and wellbeing of our clients first. This means you get:

  • A personalized concierge service - we take care of all admin, including insurance paperwork, flexible appointments around your schedule, same-day emergency appointments, follow-ups, check-ins and more.

  • Flexible treatment plans that fit your lifestyle and budget.

  • 60-minute one-on-one treatments sessions with your physical therapist, not a junior aide or assistant. We don’t do cookie cutter care.

  • Us on speed-dial. Call or text your PT at any time.

  • Private treatment rooms. We respect your privacy.

  • Value for money. Your goals could be met in three, 1 hour sessions (~$595) as opposed to 12 sessions costing ~$540 (co-pay of ~$45 per 15 minutes) with In-Network providers. 

If you have Out of Network Benefits, you may be able to get 70-90% of each session reimbursed after you meet your deductible. 

FSA/HSA Flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health saving accounts (HSA) allow you to set aside money (before taxes). We can apply that to each appointment with us. 

Wellness Stipend Check with your employer if you have a monthly stipend as part of employee wellbeing initiatives.
