“In 2018, I tore my right ACL on the American Ninja Warrior Course. I was devastated…I knew that the first thing to do was to find a physical therapist for before and after surgery to keep me strong…Kerry not only gave me hope but she also gave me the time and knowledge I needed to get back to the level of athletics I was before. I saw her 3x a week and with manual therapy and the exercises she gave me I was able to compete back in Ninja in Season 11, feeling confident. I was even able to make it back to finals again.”

“Kerry has been an integral part of my fitness journey. After much wear and tear of my body from dancing for many years, plus lifting and conditioning, my Achilles and knee tendinitis hit an all-time high. Kerry was able to manage me in such a way that I was able to still perform in my usual outlets of boxing, dancing, heavy lifting, sprinting, and long hours on my feet.”

“We finally came to terms that I had to take some time off to fully be able to have a true come back. During that time of rest, Kerry was super hands-on and a great support system when I was feeling down. And now a year later after some proper rest, I am able to run without pain and I’m training in a way that respects my body so that I’m in it for the long haul. So grateful for the experience and support I had with Kerry!”

Alonzo+Testimonial

Alonzo, Founder @ Tone House

“After 2 surgeries in one month, one of them being an emergency appendix removal, this PT and Lady Killer on the turf has officially gotten me back on the turf. If you are looking for a physical therapist, look no further. She will get you right, then take class with you at Tone House, but be warned she is a quick one so leave your ego at the door or get it crushed.”

Bartos+Testimonial

Bart, Olympic Weightlifter

“Throughout these last 8 years of competing I endured a significant amount of injuries: avulsion in my groin, torn TFCC in my wrist, torn quad, torn shoulder, and chronic back contusions. Kerry has provided rehab and maintenance for me after every surgery that I have had. I can confidently say that if not for her I would not be able to continue training with a goal to compete at a national level again.”

“She has always been successful at figuring out which muscle was either impinged, strained, or torn when other physicians and physical therapist failed to. She never rushed through any therapy sessions no matter how full her schedule was. She also always managed to see me immediately whenever I suffered from another injury so that it did not develop into something worse. There aren’t many therapists like Kerry in the New York tri-state area. I have always said she is my mechanic for my body.”

“It has been a transformational 15 months working with Dr KO...I am incrementally appreciative of the adjustments she made so we could continue rehabilitation virtually during COVID, and I was able to actually increase my training load during quarantine. The performance results over the past few months have put me within striking distance of my college days!”

Simon Testimonials

Simon, Trainer & Athlete

“As a certified personal trainer, group instructor, and athlete, it’s of the utmost importance to be in top physical condition so I can move, demonstrate exercises properly and be active. Kerry has helped me do just that. She is professional and caters the therapy to your needs and lifestyle.”

Jeffrey+Testimonial

Jeffrey, Recreational Sports Player

“Recovering from injuries is a painful physical and mental experience, and I've found it's critical to have the right PT working with you to clear all of these obstacles. Kerry was a game changer when it came to putting me back together on several occasions - hip dysfunction and my Achilles Tendon were persistent problems, and often required a ton of pain treatment.”

“I found she does an amazing job of identifying the root cause of the problem, course correcting movement, and setting you up to avoid further injuries. As someone who tries to maintain an active lifestyle with sports and working out, I can't thank Kerry enough for all the time she's spent treating me always with a fun and positive attitude!”

Kristie Testimonial

Kristie, Trainer & Athlete

“I started working with Kerry when I had chronic lower back pain that put me on medical leave from my group fitness teaching job. Kerry was a curious, confident, and capable therapist who provided ego-free treatment. She knew when it was the right time to refer me to a doctor, and then they worked together to design my treatment plan. I eventually fully recovered from that injury without surgical intervention.”

“Since then, I’ve continued to see Kerry for treatment of various aches and pains that have arisen. I’ve learned that if I see her early and faithfully complete my homework, I can often nip the problem in the bud in just a few sessions. Being treated by Kerry feels like a collaborative experience—she asks questions, truly listens, and makes sure I understand what’s going on with my body and why we are doing certain exercises.

“Even better, Kerry is an athlete herself and understands the importance of returning to activity. As a personal trainer, I have referred multiple clients to Kerry, and every one has reported excellent results and returned to working out without restrictions. I know that anyone Kerry treats will receive excellent care with a focus on returning to normal activity.”

“Kerry pinpointed my injury and helped me recover and get back to running far sooner than I’d imagined would be possible. Kerry was incredibly effective irregardless of the fact that most of our sessions were virtual. Kerry also identified multiple areas where I could benefit from strength training to prevent incurring the same or other injuries in the future, improving my form and strength in areas where I didn’t even know I needed improvement. I’m grateful for the injury that led me to Kerry, she has made me a better athlete!”

Ira, Recreational Fitness and Wellness

“Kerry diagnosed my Acute grade 1 hamstring strain virtually through a series of range of motion tests while giving me cues on what she was looking for and signs that would require immediate emergency care. We met only virtually for the first two weeks of my rehabilitation where she customized a program for me that included range-of-motion and strengthening exercises based on equipment I already owned which she closely monitored, gave me feedback, and adjusted accordingly. During this time, I was able to progress from severe pain and difficulty walking to weighted lunges, squats, single leg loading and hip hinging. After I was able to resume running, we continued our virtual sessions mixing in conditioning, change of direction, sprinting, and plyometrics into the program at different locations -- tracks, parks, and 2 quarantine locations. Kerry did a great job of incorporating a safe warmup and providing both visual and audible guidance.”

Jia, Recreational Fitness and Wellness

“Kerry has helped me with a series of issues, from headaches, shoulder injury, a mysterious Baker’s Cyst behind my knee, hamstring tendonitis, Iliotibial band syndrome, knee swelling, patellofemoral syndrome and mobility restrictions. I like that she is thoughtful and listens to her patients. I’ve been to reputable PT practices where they have a template, insert your name, your issues are categorized into a specific injury & causation & treatment is already pre-determined. Kerry’s perspective is that every client is different. She customizes your treatment and roadmap to recovery. Make an appointment with her, you’ll be happy that you did!”

“Dr. KO was always extremely helpful and thoughtful as it relates to providing care for me and my injury. I was very lucky to have found her and had the opportunity to work with her. She was always extremely diligent and thoughtful as it relates to what type of therapy to provide me on any given day. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the future and I am thankful for the opportunity I had to work with her.”

Rachel, Recreational Fitness and Wellness

“Working with Kerry was truly an amazing experience, and I am forever grateful for all her guidance when I was injured. I went to Kerry with sharp pains in my quad, with no idea how to approach my injury, what was causing it, or how to fix it. Within one consultation Kerry was able to find the issue, figure out imbalances and weaknesses in my body, and provide a prescriptive approach to healing. What stands out most about Kerry is that she is an athlete herself. Most PT's I had visited in the past would tell me to just rest and only move when I saw them. Kerry was able to show me ways to stay active, strengthen areas that would help the healing, and progress towards my goals. I was able to fix my quad, workout throughout my time seeing Kerry with her guidance, and have not had any quad issues since because of my strengthened supporting muscles. She is truly a joy to work with and and inspiration as a PT and an athlete!”

Divya, Recreational Fitness and Wellness

“Systematic and specific. Knowledgeable practitioner. Thoughtful educator. Empowering coach. These are the words I use to describe Kerry's approach to physical rehabilitation. Kerry has worked with me over six months to rehab acute injury in my deltoid, educate me on the shoulder complex and help me understand misalignments, and trained me in fundamental exercises to advance intrinsic form and function of my body. Without hesitation, I recommend Kerry as a Physical Therapist to friends and colleagues of all backgrounds and experiences. I grew up as a competitive gymnast and explored dance and swimming in my later teen years. In my 20s, I began a dedicated practice and teaching of yoga and mindfulness meditation. This arc has created a deep interest in how the human body and mind perform and regenerate. When young, I had hubris to believe in "boundless" potential of the body. Through experience (and age!), I am humbled by the body's limits and inspired by its organic regenerative power. My experience and personal knowledge resulted in a skepticism of physical therapy. Until this year, I thought I could figure out rehabilitation on my own. Kerry's work and impact transformed my view on physical therapy. She is systematic taking an end-to-end view of cause and impact of pain and misalignment. She is specific in her language and approach to treatment. Kerry is passionate about enabling people to reach their full potential. She engages in conversation about the body to help clients develop a more intuitive intelligence of the body's bounds and limitations. Kerry is your advocate. She can empathize with how debilitating physical pain can be and how it can impact emotions; with how frustrating it can feel not to be able to move in your body in a way you're used to.”

Harold, Recreational Fitness and Wellness

“I love fitness and the energy of some of New York's finest group classes. But sometimes that energy has led me to push my aging body a tad too far and injuries occurred. Sometimes I was recommended physical therapy and I would do some sessions always leaving disappointed and skeptical of the entire profession. A few years ago during a competition, I tore my left labrum. I was so disappointed in myself. The doctor was quick to advise surgery and I refused. I got depressed as I couldn't do a push up anymore without pain shooting through my shoulder. I went for weekly massages and they certainly helped but only temporarily. When I was recommended by a trainer to see Kerry, I had my same skepticism. Another physical therapist. But I was cautiously optimistic when I visited Kerry because she knew the places I worked out in, the classes I enjoyed because she enjoyed them too and she listened to my objectives. I wanted to do a push up without pain. I visited Kerry for a month and with each visit I got stronger and stronger. And while I wish I could take credit because I did all the stretching and exercises she asked of me at home but I wasn't a great patient - 99% of my treatment was at the hands of Kerry during our sessions. It has been over a year since I first saw Kerry and COVID all but stopped our sessions unfortunately. But what hasn't stopped is being pain free and I am so grateful to Kerry.”

James, Recreational Fitness and NYC Suregon

“As spine surgeon in NYC, I send all of my patients to Kerry. I also see her regularly myself as an athlete. In all of my years, I've never seen a therapist with better hands and a more thorough understanding and knowledge of the musculoskeletal system. She has all of the modern modalities in her armamentarium and is as facile with dry needling as she is with joint manipulation. My only concern with writing this review is that I'm only making it harder for myself to get access to her incredibly sought-after appointments.”

Charlene, Recreational Fitness and Boxing

“Kerry is an excellent PT with plenty of experience in the athletic space! Not only is she a trained expert but she is also an incredible athlete and understands what that experience feels like! I had a couple of painful hand injuries that we worked on together and the results have been incredible. Not only did I recover from these but I also worked on other key areas of strength for shoulders and core which really helped get me back on track.
Kerry is always so pleasant to work with, pushes you to your limits and is extremely supportive and very detailed with her diagnosis and treatment. I highly recommend her services, you won't be disappointed!”

Ashish, Recreational Fitness and Wellness

“Kerry is an outstanding therapist. She makes time for clients and is very thorough at diagnosing issues. She also takes a methodical approach to addressing each issue you may have and working thru various treatment methods at the session and at home. I highly recommend Kerry! Must see to make your body and mind feel better!”

Meredith, Recreational Fitness and Wellness

“Working with Kerry changed EVERYTHING for me. I thought I had pulled my hamstring, so was avoiding getting it checked as I was afraid I was going to be told rest was the only option...I went to Kerry and she quickly assessed that it wasn’t a pull and performed multiple dry needle sessions on the area. Within two weeks, my range of motion dramatically increased and my pain was gone. She changed how I was performing on runs, in lifts and moving in my general life. I cannot say enough good things about working with her.”
